Your Lake Ouachita adventure begins at this charming 2-BR, 2-B condo on LakeOuachita. 1King bed, 2trundle beds,& 1child bed, Living room equiped with 1Queen sofa bed&1twin sofa bed. Enjoy numerous activities such as boating, swimming,hiking,pickle ball,tennis,basketball, fishing, &horse back riding.From our Bear Den you are close to 2 pools,a beach,tennis,pickle ball,basketball, playgrounds,trails for walking,mountain biking &ATV riding.A favorite is Hickory Nut Mountain. The view is incredible! -The Bear Den is a upper end unit with a unit on the one side. There is potential to hear sounds from neighboring units. Please be mindful that neighbors can also hear loud noises omitting from within the unit. One parking space is provided per condo. Parking perpendicular is necessary. Other vehicles can be parked in Overflow parking areas at the top of the parking lot or at Turtle Cove Spa. Trailers shall be parked in Overflow areas. -Follow all posted condo community rules -Quiet time 10:30pm-8am -Security phone numbers are posted with in the unit if needed. If security is called to the unit for disturbances a charge is assessed per occurrence by the POA. -No Smoking indoors. -No Animals. -By reporting issues, guests give permission for entry to address issues. -Location is rural there are insects and wild animals * no refunds or compensation will be given -There could be power and/ internet outages * no refunds or compensation will be given. - During the holidays the Bear Den will be decorated for the occasion. Check out: Please load and start dishwasher, gather dirty towels and linens in front of washer. The whole Condo and Resort facilities as long as rules are followed. No animals are allowed in Resort facilities. Guests enjoy full access to Marina, pools, launch ramps, hiking trails, tennis courts and basketball courts. Other amenities that can be enjoyed at additional cost include Turtle Cove Spa, Mountain Harbor Horse Riding Stables; Boat, jet ski, kayak, canoe rentals, Guided fishing tours There is a lodge restaurant offering dining, callin, & to-go orders. During the week they close from 2-5. Shangrila Cafe is open serving breakfast lunch and dinner, both have lake views and can be accessed by water. Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa is an award winning, destination resort on Lake Ouachita, 25 short miles west of Hot Springs, Arkansas. With in Mountain Harbor Resort you will have access to Turtle Cove Spa, Mountain Harbor Riding Stables, Mountain Harbor Marina and Boat Launch, Dream Chasers Boat Rentals, Lake Ouachita Vista Trail, Mountain Harbor Lodge and Restaurant Mt lda is 12 miles away and boasts Bob's Food City grocery store, Dollar General and Family Dollar. Several rock and gem shops can be found along the road into town. Restaurants include Shangri La Cafe, El Diamanté, Dairyette and Lodge Restaurant just to name a few. The Joplin store serves deli sandwiches, corn dogs, hamburgers and breakfast items. They also carry small sized staple items Show Host guidebook > Get around by bike, water or car. Four wheelers and side by sides welcome Trailer parking is available at the launch ramp or close by off Clubhouse Dr. Short term boat tie off at the cove down from the condo. You can walk up to the condo or park your car at the spa and drive 1 min over to the condo. Boat Slips are rented via Mountain Harbor Marina. Dream Chasers rents a range of Pontoon boats, Jet Ski, Kayak, and canoes. Other things to note The most popular thing about the area is THE LAKE! Take a dip off the shore line, put your boat in at the marina, or rent a boat and have a great time. Take a day trip into Hot Springs. Have a competitive BBall game and then a dip in the pool. Schedule a fishing trip with a local guide, then take your catch to the lodge for them to prepare a family style feast. Adventure through the National Forest on horse back with John at Mountain Harbor Riding Stables. Go for a crystal dig at one of many local digs. Seasonally decorated for holidays.
